SAFE PET FOODS: ONLY AT DOGGIE STYLE
Doggie Style is proud to say that none of the pet foods or treats we carry have been recalled.

When we opened our store in 2002, we decided to carry only all-natural foods for dogs and cats. Our decision was based on the fact that pet foods are regulated by the FDA as 'Animal Feed'. The restirctions on Animal Feed include many foods the are deemed 'not safe for human consumption.' We felt, and still feel today, that if the food is not good enough for us to eat, it is not good enough for our dogs and cats. We did our research (much of which has come from the Whole Dog Journal, and independant newsletter much like Consumer Reports, that accepts no advertising), and over the years we have carried only the best of the best. Now, we are the only store in DC who has not had one of our brands recalled.

Listed here are the foods that we carry and a link to an independant site, www.thepetfoodlist.com, who has compiled a list of the pet food and treat manufacturers whose foods HAVE NOT been recalled. This site lists statements from the manufacturers of these non-recalled pet foods explaining why their products have not been recalled. Since the list was published, many brands that were originally on the list have been recalled, these foods are listed in RED.
